The Industrial Archaeology Group of the Essex Society for Archaeology and History holds its second Industrial Archaeology Fair this autumn:

stalls and/or demonstrations on bricks and brickmaking, joinery works, maltings,
mills, railways, explosives, shoe making, water supply and more.
5 x 30 minute talks on Bata shoes, Plotlands, EKCO Radios
